Microneedle expertise offers a useful minimally-invasive technique to pattern blood. As a result of their small size, microneedles can pierce pores and skin and take minute portions of blood with minimal affect and or ache to the subject. Regardless of their advantages, prior art microneedle systems are still considerably invasive since they contain the extraction of blood from the patient. Implanted in vivo sensors present one other means to pattern blood chemistry that doesn't require blood extraction. It can be desirable to realize a much less invasive approach that wouldn't extract blood from the affected person and provide longer measurement times than in prior art in vivo units. This invention relates to a microneedle with a glucose sensor. FIG. 3A is a perspective of an array of microneedles with glucose sensors in accordance with embodiments of the current invention. FIG. 4B is a facet, cross-sectional view of a working microneedle. FIG. 4C is a facet view of one other array of microneedles in accordance with embodiments of the present invention.
